You’ve all seen those nifty "Google is hiring" ads that show cute
childhood pictures. I’ve applied online and await that offer letter.
We can skip that interview stuff. Finding that "next Microsoft" is
so 1995. After all, google is now a common dictionary verb! Maybe
it’s time to find the "next google", some new disruptive idea and
requiring a "next google" type leader. Then again, maybe Google will
quickly send me that offer letter and someday I will be Google’s
CEO? I certainly have the drive, passionate focus on
customer listening and satisfaction, dynamic problem solving,
networking ability and creative "big picture" analytical skills to
do it! Got an amazing idea that needs visionary leadership?
Maybe you and I should talk...
The era of the micro-specialist is about to
abruptly end. Broad, visionary and generalist skills will be needed
as search now merges offline with mobile, LBS, RFID and user
authentication technologies. Big picture leaders with the vision to connect disparate data sets
will change the world in a dynamic problem-solving environment is what is
essential to dominance. In the 21st century, you need to back up
viral marketing with
unique retention efforts, flawless execution,
customer listening and innovation. These are the quotes to live by.. Otherwise, significant brand damage can result. Many
financial services folks have demonstrated the right skill set
combination to lead disruptive Internet technologies such as Jimmy
Wales of Wikipedia, Seth Goldstein and many others at Root Markets.
I'm sure you can think of others please tell me about those folks and
that the world wants from the current and "next google" CEO...
